Indian nationals must secure a tourist visa before traveling to Vietnam.  The visa is intended for leisure travel, sightseeing, and visiting friends or family.

To apply for a Vietnam tourist visa, Indian citizens generally need to provide:

• Passport: Valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended stay, with at least two blank pages.
• Photograph: Recent passport-sized color photo (4cm x 6cm) with a white background.
• Flight Itinerary: Confirmed round-trip tickets.
• Accommodation Proof: Hotel bookings or an invitation letter from a host in Vietnam.
• Financial Proof: Bank statements for the last 3 months to show sufficient funds.
• Travel Insurance: Coverage for the duration of stay.
